Alchemy CTRM
Alchemy is Amphora’s web-based Concentrates and Refined Metal CTRM.
Alchemy handles the specific complexities of concentrates and metal trading, allowing full front to back management of a trade lifecycle.
The platform ensures all the correct data is captured, from deal capture, to logistics, to hedging, so that an accurate invoice may be produced from a single trusted source of data, with a full audit trail of all historic data entered.
Alchemy’s focus from the beginning has been on user experience – ease of use means businesses can train users within half a day and be assured of the quality of the output.
Entering a concentrate contract with all the nuances it may contain, takes less than 10 minutes. There is no need for the user to enter formulas to price the trade. It’s built into the user interface and takes just a few mouse clicks.
The user is never forced to move/delete any data in order to capture additional values, so therefore all their historical data is always there in one place. You can enter multiple weights and assays and select which one to use for P&L or to use for additional costs that are associated with that material, just with a simple click of the mouse.
Alchemy automates assumptions within contracts. For example, if the price or content of gold rises above a certain threshold, then the payable percentage of the gold can change. Alchemy automates that condition. It also supports approximations of weights or assays.
The summaries are perfect for the user to see the breakdown of the trade price, and the P&L, having everything in one place saves a lot of time.
