Amphora announces certification to ISO/IEC

International Organization for Standardization (ISO) IEC 27001:2013 is an information security management system (ISMS). An ISMS is a framework of policies and procedures that includes all legal, physical and technical controls involved in an organization’s information risk management processes.

For any company, the road to certification requires time and commitment. Amphora began their internal preparation for certification in June 2018, by evaluating their existing procedures.

In advance of the required internal audit, Amphora sent their key staff members through auditor training to become certified internal auditors. This allowed Amphora to simultaneously complete internal audits in each department throughout the year and prior to the certification audit.
